Rev. Jeremy Reese
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jeremy joined Aiken Ebenezer in September 2022 as Lead Pastor. He is ordained as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene and has served in Christian Higher Education, overseas missionary church planting, student ministry, local church and district administration and as a speaker for various events and workshops.
Pastor Jeremy is the Executive Assistant for the South Carolina District Church of the Nazarene. He is married to his wife of 13 years, Melissa, and they have four children: Neomi, Nathan, Ezekiel and Shepherd.
Gene and Elaine Wengerd
Worship Leaders
Gene and Elaine, along with many of their family members, lead worship with intentionality and a genuine spirit. Vocals, keyboard, guitar, and percussion are played in addition to other instruments and gifted individuals that join the band from time to time. They bring a warm atmosphere with their years of musical experience.
Rev. Jessica Rojas
Children's Pastor
Wilmar and Jessica have been married since 2004 and have two teenage boys, Israel and Caleb. They served as Nazarene missionaries in Argentina from 2011-2022 before moving to South Carolina to serve in the District Office and on the Nazarene Campground. Jessica has a heart for discipleship, especially among the church’s youngest, believing that children are the church’s today and tomorrow.
Rev. Daniel Wood
Recovery Pastor
After a 20-year battle with addiction and since finding sobriety from his addiction himself in 2010, Pastor Daniel has had a sincere heart for helping others find that same sobriety as well as recovery from their own hurts, habits, and hang-ups through Christ Jesus. Pastor Daniel, along with his wife Briana and their two children, Damian and Dakayla, moved to South Carolina in August 2018 from Albuquerque, NM where he served as Recovery Pastor. Upon moving to South Carolina, he became the Lead Pastor of New Life Church of the Nazarene in New Ellenton, SC until he began feeling a renewed call to help those in need of that same recovery. Pastor Daniel has been the Recovery Pastor at Aiken Ebenezer Nazarene since January 2024.
Amanda Robinson
Social Worker
Amanda Robinson was born and raised in South Carolina. She has attended a Nazarene church her entire life and was born again, through baptism at the age of 19. Amanda has served on her local church board for a total of 6 years, and received the distinguished service award from the (Fort Mill) Nazarene church for her efforts of working with the youth department .
She graduated in 2016 with an associates of science and graduated in 2021 with her Bachelor of social work with a minor in psychology from Liberty University. She is married to Joshua (Chandler) Robinson for 7 years and has a baby girl named Harper.
Mrs. Robinson has a background working with students who struggle with poverty. Amanda has worked with clients that have been victims of domestic violence and sexual assault as well as offered military family support by notifying service members of emergency situations through the Red Cross. She also assisted individuals struggling with homelessness by providing financial relief services during and directly after COVID.
She is now delighted to be the new social worker at Aiken Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene, where she is committed to aiding and assisting families and individuals that struggle with financial insecurities and poverty.
Revs. Richard & Terri Dakin
Compassionate Outreach Pastors
Richard and Terri are high school sweethearts who have two adult children and six grandchildren. They are both ordained Elders in the Church of the Nazarene. Richard began his ministry as Youth Pastor at Woodlawn Church of the Nazarene in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was later called to the role of Lead Pastor in Paris, TN. There, Terri served as Associate Pastor, ministering to teens as well as creating and leading Fish and Loaves food ministry alongside of Richard. They moved to South Carolina and joined the fellowship at Aiken Ebenezer in January 2024 where they serve as Compassionate Outreach Pastors.
